Luna Bonaire offers relaxed, guided evenings under the island's night sky. Your guide shows you how to find constellations, planets, bright stars and other celestial objects, and tells you the science, stories, myths and history behind them.

When conditions allow, you can look through a telescope and see details you can't see with the naked eye.

Your evening begins with an introduction to the sky above Bonaire and what you can expect to see that night. As your eyes adjust to the darkness, your guide helps you find some of the most interesting stars and constellations. Learn to recognise constellations, discover planets and bright stars, and look through a telescope when conditions allow.

Come for the sunset. Stay for the stars.

Start in the late afternoon as Bonaire glows in golden-hour light. Enjoy a signature Luna drink at sunset and light tapas-style bites while the sky turns from gold and orange to deep blue. Then the first stars appear, and your host guides you into the night sky, with a telescope when conditions allow.

A quiet moment beneath a very big sky.

A relaxed evening to slow down, disconnect and reconnect with yourself or with someone who matters. Write a letter: to someone you love, to your future self, or one you may never send. There is no right way to do it, and you never have to share. Then the evening opens into guided stargazing. Maybe you'll leave with a letter. Maybe you'll simply leave feeling a little lighter.

No. You don't need to know anything about astronomy before you arrive. Your guide explains everything, from the brightest stars to the stories behind the constellations.

Award-winning concept

Born under the Caribbean stars

Luna Bonaire started as an idea: Bonaire is famous for what lies beneath the sea, but on a clear night the sky above the island is just as spectacular.

In June 2026 that idea won the grand prize of the first Bonaire Tourism Business Academy innovation initiative by BONHATA, supported by Tourism Corporation Bonaire. The jury chose Luna's stargazing experiences as the strongest concept of the year.

Founder Jeanny Sint Jago was born under the Caribbean stars and moved from Aruba to Bonaire, where the nights are darker and the sky is bigger. She now turns that concept into evenings you can book: small groups, a guide who loves the night sky, and no hurry at all.
